SOS: Creation Museum and Dinner

Hey all!

Just thought I'd send a little update from Cincinnati :)

Today we went to the Creation.... - WAIT. Mom just told me the high and low temps for tomorrow. 23...is the HIGH. The low you ask? 17. Oh. My. Goodness. Gracious. AAAAHHH.

Anyway. Today, we went to the Creation Museum, which was fantastic! I especially enjoyed the Planetarium shows. Simply fascinating :)

At the museum, we met up with the Cochran family who we've talked with at previous different conferences and kept in touch some (Confession: I'm not a very good penpal). So we decided to go to dinner together as the museum was closing.

We went to a delicious Mexican restaurant near our hotel. It was great to be able to sit down and talk with them! It seems we're always so busy and we never get time to actually get a good conversation in! :)

We are having a great time and the Sufficiency of Scripture conference has yet to begin! Can't wait to see what God has in store for the rest of this week :D

(P.S. I checked the weather for Cincinnati today, and it said that it's supposed to snow the first day we get there!!! As a Floridian who rarely sees snow, this makes me [and my mom] super happy! My dad...not so much :P)

Mysterious Islands and Homemade Delights!

Last night my mom and I, the Hope family, and Jean Marie carpooled down to Tampa to enjoy a free premiere of the new movie The Mysterious Islands! Mr. Pat Walsh sponsored the evening and many thanks go to him. I had a great time and the movie was fantastic! The drive was a little long and we didn't get back until 2am...but we played games on the way there and slept on the way back. All in all, it was a very nice evening.

I didn't get very many pictures....at all. But I'll share a few. And of course, you can go to Doug's Blog to see some of his pictures. I'm thinking Lauren and Jean will post also, so if they do, I'll link to them.

This was funny, Joseph turned around and I had my camera there and his face totally says, She's going to take a picture of me :|

But it ended up coming out super dark so I just played with it a little... :P

Thank you all for your prayers during him applying for jobs and such...prayers are always much appreciated!!

I would love it if you would all continue to pray for him. As you would know, firefighting is not exactly the safest job around...but he and my dad love it! :D
